recycled:

Appliances can also be recycled:
The City also recycles discarded
refrigerators, stoves, water heaters, washers and dryers, and other large
appliances, called "white goods". To have "white goods" collected,
citizens need to purchase a white goods tag. Tags for refrigerators,
freezers, air-conditioners and every other type of white goods item containing
freon are $28.00. For all other white goods, tags cost $5.00 per item.
All tags are available for purchase at the City's Revenue Office in City Hall.
Each item must have a white goods tag attached before it will be collected.
All white goods should be placed three feet behind the curb. Items with
doors should be placed with the door side facing the ground as a safety
measure.
For additional
information on the recycling program, please contact the Environmental
Services Department at 501-3080.
